The term 'induction' has Latin origin and it means to 'induce' or 'lead'. Inductive logic is done following a trail before identifying clues that help to conclude an argument. In the art of argument, Induction refers to methods of reasoning that are based on generalized conclusions rather than specific instances. Speakers adopting inductive reasoning usually collect a wide range of forms and instance that are generalizations of applicable instances.
