Leading companies play a vital role in educating and training the staff, and supervising and motivating them. None of this is accomplished without a concrete understanding of man and his behavior, the employee and the social environment in which he lives and where he works. To lead and manage business staff is necessary to know in depth the most revealing aspects of human behavior, the motives that drive to act in one way or another, the attitudes that predetermine these reasons, opinions, ideas and even prejudices. It is important to get not only the conditions under which the work develops encourage staff satisfaction, but staff feel, experience and live such satisfaction. In this paper, we would be reviewing the present literature on the topic of the link between job satisfaction and employee engagement. Job satisfaction is certainly the most studied subject in all types of organizations. Experts generally agree that the job satisfaction varies with the individual, nature of the work, and several other aspects. On the contrary, it is a complex concept that relates to the vision of the employees about the work environment, rewards, supervision, job requirements, etc. In general, each of these aspects has a corresponding attitude, which is only a predisposition, gained from experience, to respond to others, objects or institutions, positively or negatively. Engagement of employees of the organization is a psychological condition that defines expectations, attitudes of employees, particularly their work behavior and the way they perceive the organization. The organization's commitment includes: identification, engagement and loyalty. More specifically the different aspects of job satisfaction and employee engagement are attitudes that focus on job satisfaction itself, satisfaction with salary, satisfaction with peers, satisfaction with the heads and satisfaction with promotions. The importance of each of these aspects has changes as the work changes. It is also possible that an employee is very happy with a look and very dissatisfied with another.
