Nursing skills must aptly provide direct patient care. Nurses must possess a portfolio of numerous skills including leadership skills, experience, empowering patients, communication skills, teamwork and compassion (Royal College of Nursing p.11). SDLC approach involves several stages like system analysis, system design, programming and testing, implementation and maintenance. So it is necessary to involve nurses in all stages.
