The significance of the topic: it is very important to study this area so that the members or employees can be provided the adequate amount of health and safety while working in an organization and the organization where this is not taken of the activities of the employees might be affected. Failure while including the safety and healthy within the organization could result in creating risk for the business. A number of high-profile cases regarding safety have been generated over time just because of failing leadership.
Purpose: the purpose of studying this area is for lowering the risks that the workers or employees are capable of facing while at work since there are many accidents that can occur and if the safety of the employees is focused there are number of benefits the promote safety and good health. This should not be taken as a burden but as an advantage towards the company and its employees because it results in lowered risks and lowered costs, lesser accidents, turnover rates and absence is reduced, the threat regarding the legal actions is decreased. This study will also give us a better understanding on following the Health and Safety rules at the work place by looking at the regulations that are followed in the United Kingdom.
Method: the method that will be used to study this particular area will be the secondary sources since the primary research performed by the government of United Kingdom will be focused on and the similar study performed by various researchers will be looked over. This will give us the understanding regarding the responsibilities of the organization that they should be giving protection to the employees. When this safety and health policies will be practiced by the organization it will also provide these companies a better reputation.
