Advertising makes the impression that most of the populace smoke and it is socially accepted norm. They endorse the image that smoking is promising and pleasing. The resolution to buy the cigarette goes progressively more towards the value of a sign. Off course, the decline in sales of cigarette will have detrimental effect on the economy but at the same time, there will be lots of economic benefits which will offset this loss. The decline in smoking rate will indirectly lead to economic growth. It will create more employment opportunities when the people stop smoking. Smokers usually spend a lot amount of their hard earned money on buying expensive cigarette packs. After the ban on advertisement, there would be a natural decline in the nectarine craving which will previously caused by the influence of advertisings. Smokers will reallocate these funds in buying other goods and services which will contribute to the success of that particular industry.
