Abstract

The role of the teamwork is very important in the organizations. The main aspect is that the teamwork provides an opportunity for learning and development of the employees in the organization. This is the reason why the impact of teamwork on Organizational Performance was studied in the topic. In the first instance, the positive effects of teamwork on Organizational Performance. There were many factors in this regard that were analyzed to acquire maximum information. Introduction

Since the beginning of history, teams or groups, recognized as a special means by which human beings can efficiently accomplish their goals. A team is not simply a group of people who share similar tastes and characteristics. People in a team experience more efficient use of resources, better conflict resolution, increased innovation and creativity, greater productivity, and create better quality products. Historically, work teams or groups, utilized to inspire new ideas, get things done, and nurture individual members. A group does not necessarily develop a team in itself. Teams have members who generate synergies with the help of coordination and who have complementary skills. The coordination between team members allows everyone to maximize his/her strengths and overcome the weaknesses. According to European Foundation, (2007), it has been observed that the concept of teamwork is the widely used the metaphor in organizational life. In this paper, a detailed study would be conducted to identify the effects of teamwork on organizational performance. This paper will study the degree of relationship between teamwork and organizational performance in respect to negative and positive relationships.

Discussion

From the perspective of West, (2012), the impact of teamwork on the performance of organizations has been a topic of several studies conducted by practitioners and academics in previous years. One of the possible reasons of this interest is the wider belief that teamwork has a strong influence on the overall performance of the organization. The construction of a team is taken as significant by a large number of researchers for the achievement of organizational objectives and goals and for inducing the performances between subordinates.
