Human trafficking is increasing globally. Despite the fact that this illegal business, it has an annual turnover of billions of dollars. There are countries which are better known for their tourist attractions and successful athletes, concluded that illicit trafficking in its territory is constantly increasing. The East African countries are turning into a transit point and destination for victims of human trafficking and smuggling. Human trafficking has become one of the most lucrative forms of illegal business in the country.

Human Trafficking as a Global Problem
Victims of trafficking syndicate are men under thirty years of age and adolescents, mainly from Ethiopia. They are tempted by the prospects of the best jobs in South Africa, and are easy prey for traffickers human beings who want to make quick money. Contraband, commonly known as smuggled goods are a part of a profitable business, which has taken root along the border of many countries (www.soroptimist.org). This business attracts people who were not able to move their relatives in the civilized Western world, or those looking for a better application of its own forces in South Africa.
Victims of human trafficking are believed to be those who help them escape from their countries will not cause them any harm, and will provide an opportunity for a better life for future. However, most of them have to undergo painful tests or end up in jail. Many who had been arrested were found in deplorable conditions of human existence, waiting for their dreams come true for other countries.
However, many are still willing to take the chance to realize their dreams of a better life elsewhere. Victims of the slave trade said that they gave all their money Human smugglers. The situation is complicated by the fact that most of them can only communicate in their native languages. Countries victims of human trafficking are now in the process of developing laws to protect victims and to confront human trafficking.Human trafficking is associated with the history of humanity forever.
