ABSTRACT
In the present era of globalisation, multi-nationalisation and internationalisation, culture and management practices play a dominant role in the management practices of businesses. Cultural orthodoxy leaves an impact on the organisational practices carried out by the people at the workplace, which may lead to the occurrence of cultural differences that require being addressed through various management practices. Cultural orthodoxy has a strong relationship with the cultural practices followed by different organisations. This is with specific reference to employment related practices in different countries, especially UK and Chinese business organisations. This study aims to identify the impact on cultural orthodoxy over management practices undertaken by UK and Chinese business organisations.
