Corporate Culture Issues

It is the most initial issue faced by the company. A profession is identified by the willingness of individual practitioners to comply with ethical and professional standards which exceed minimum legal requirements. It is widely recognized throughout the financial industry that the culture of an organization has a large impact on the performance of the employees (Kreitner, Kinicki, 2003). This can be a positive impact or a negative impact. A large majority of employees that work for organizations with a strong corporate culture are more motivated and feel that they are part of a team (USPS, 2008). This means that they are more motivated and, therefore, happier in their working environment meaning that they are more productive. The positive effect on employees of a corporate culture is usually followed by commitment, inspiration and loyalty (Bateman, Snell, 2004).

It has been proven that these results will come by establishing the work environment as more of a learning environment making the job more interesting and enjoyable. A great deal of employees feel supported by a culture in which knowledge, information and resources are easily shared. This can be achieved by employees using internet and website tools to communicate with each other throughout the entire hotel chain; they can share their ideas and comment on their own experiences. This helps to build strong relationships and so the employees feel more comfortable with the people that they are working with (Bateman, Snell, 2004). After this issue ethics problem must be identified.

Ethics Intersect Investments will be able to incorporate ethics learned from the ethical training and executive staff introducing team building methods to reach employees as well as clients to improve customer satisfaction and employee morale (Boatright, 2008).
