Introduction

The movie I Heart Huckabees is basically an American philosophical comedy, which was directed by David O Russell and released in 2004. The purpose of writing this paper is to highlight the role Tommy Corn that was played by Mark Wahlberg. Tommy role in the movie is quite interesting because the movie is based on the incidents after 9/11. Tommy role in the movie was of fire fighter but it was portrayed as Anti-Petroleum fire fighter. He believed that all the problems that the modern world facing is because of the exploitation of the petroleum resources. Due to this sort of believes he wouldn't able to work with dedication and thus finding answers for his life. However, the focus of the movie is on the 'Symbol of Petroleum' that is highlighted by Russell through the role of Mark (Tommy). The other cast of the movie is Jason Schwartzman as Albert, whose role in the movie was the head of an environmental group by the name of 'Open Spaces Coalition'. Another important character of the movie was Isabelle Huppert, who was a former student and teaches the people to disconnect their inner life problems and start living a pure life in which the tensions do not affect the real charm of life.

In the movie I heart Huckabees Mark Walberg play a role of the fire fighter who is named as Tommy in the movie. Tommy is an eco conscious type of a person that he refuses to ride on a fire truck to extinguish fires; rather he prefers his bike on which he pedals along side. Somehow it is shown in the movie that he reaches the fire struck places first than anyone else. Tommy for certain reasons that are very much unclear in the movie gets to know about another detective who is named as Caterine Vauban. This detective is from France. Tommy was previously in contact with two other detectives who are named as Bernard and Vivian (IDMB, 2004).

Discussion

It could be significant that the main source of energy that feeds the modern society is a ground substance, product of organic decomposition of plant and animal residues, petroleum, rock oil, the old medieval aqua.
