Envisioned Research Problem

The research problems that are envisioned for this assignment are mentioned below. There are two problems that are envisioned.

The first research problem is related to the motivation of employees. The core mission of an organization or a business is to operate the business in a lucrative way. In order to accomplish this goal performance of employees is of utmost importance. For that it is indispensible that the motivation level of the employees should be high. Now, the problem is to know the different ways through which managers can motivate their employees. So, it is imperative to conduct a research to get to know the various ways through which managers can motivate employees.

The second research problem is also about the motivation of employees. When we talk about the motivation level of the employees and the ways to motivate employees then the first thing that comes to mind is financial incentives. But, there is dubiousness related to the effectiveness of this way of motivating employees. This is the reason that compels to conduct a research that would reveal the extent to which this way of motivating employees is effective.

Research Questions

What are the different ways through which managers can increase the motivation level of their employees?

To what extent the factor of financial incentives helps managers in motivating employees?

In the above part there are two research problems are mentioned. Second research question would be solved by utilizing quantitative research method.

Research Method and Design

The research method that would be implied for this research statement is quantitative research method. In quantitative research, computational and statistical techniques are implied and the data that is generated through this method is numerical in nature (May, 2011). There are different techniques within the quantitative research that can be implied to conduct the research. The technique that would be utilized in this research is online survey. In online survey, an attempt is made to gather information from the sample of the population. An e-mail would be sent to the participants of the study and they would be asked to respond and provide answers to the asked questions so that important information can be generated from their response.

Research Instrument

The research instrument that would be utilized in this research is questionnaire. A questionnaire is a research instrument. This research instrument comprises of series of questions for the purpose of collecting information (Robson, 2012). A questionnaire of similar nature would be sent through e-mail to the participants of the study.

Data Collection, Processing, and Analysis
