Effects of interventions on hypertension

One of a recent study was conducted in Taiwan. In the study the effectiveness and the efficiency of the community based programs was studies on patients having hypertension and cholesterol. An experiment was conducted in which 44 participants were taken and recruited through the community based integrated screening. The participants which were included in the study were more than 50 years of age and were already diagnosed with hypertension and cholesterol. All the participants were given community based health promotion program through self efficacy and behavioral change. The intervention was conducted by the nurse. The study also stated that patients having hypertension and high cholesterol had much better outcome expectations and they had better self care behavior scores. This helped individuals in maintain their health and improving their behavior (Yang., etc, 2012)

Another study was conducted which revealed that if hypertension is decreased and controlled, it can reduce the risk of cardio vascular disease. The study revealed that if blood pressure is controlled, then it can reduce the risk of cardio vascular disease. The report also stated that treatment should be started in patients which have high blood pressure of more than 160.the study have claimed that if hypertension is managed in both primary and secondary hypertensions, the cardio vascular disease can be reduced. The blood pressure in both primary and secondary hypertension should also be reduced with close and careful monitoring and its measurement (Lamble, 2010)

Another study was also conducted which stated that most of the hypertensions contribute to the risks of cardio vascular disease which is responsible for more than 25% deaths all across the globe. In the study around 30 participants were taken who were suffering from, hypertension. The patients of hypertension were examined for more than 13 weeks and they were also given instruments to regularly check their blood pressure and also analyze their walking exercise during the time period. During the weeks the patients were told to examine their blood pressure twice a day and were told to conduct relaxation exercise. The following study revealed that if patients are regularly walking and are engaged in relaxation exercise, it can decrease their blood pressure and hypertension. The study showed that walking regularly is one of the most effective interventions for the reduction of hypertension ...
