The humanitarian aid is, by definition, any action that contributes immediately and effectively to minimize the effects of disasters of various kinds to the populations directly affected. It provides aid to political or men made disaster (war, civil war) and natural disaster which overlaps with peace and security. It provides medium term and long term relief. In medium term relief, it includes initial response to disaster and effects of continuation of war and armed forces.
