In the cut throat world of today, everyone needs to believe that they have someone backing them in their struggle to achieve tranquility as a human being. As a native of Bahrain, I have long been aware of the dismal human rights conditions in my country, and how the situation is clearly deteriorating over time. I believe that with the right qualifications and licensing, I can fight for the rights of the oppressed. I can also raise awareness in larger communities of the bleak state of affairs. In a country with divided religious sects of Shai and Sunni Muslims, tensions erupt occasionally which may lead to political and economic repercussions.

With the restoration of democratic elections in 2002, a democratic regime has taken over which, rather than leading to peace, has been source for many a controversy. The ruling Sunni minority over the majority of Shiites has caused rifts between the two sects. Tensions have arisen with the government being accused of torturing and mistreating political prisoners for empirical means. Social media has also been represented in this fissure, and blocked websites, bloggers and facebook pages have come to the forefront one time too many, in recent years. My aim is to do my bit for the betterment of my nation, and I have always been focused on this primary goal, as far as my qualifications are concerned. I have always achieved the highest merit throughout my schooling, and focused on my target throughout my university years. I believe that, yes, if a person has it in themselves to give back to their country, in whatever form or function, they should.
