Introduction

Human resource planning is an essential part that holds the management companies, and this is because it is responsible for projecting future plans to be carried out with respect to the activities to be developed using human resources. Silver Creek Winery is a growing company in the Stanthorpe district in Queensland. The owner of the company, Julia, has decided to increase its human resource as she is managing most of the activities herself. This report demonstrates the determination of human resource planning and as a HR consltant, I will provide my advice to recruit new employees for different areas of management. It is important that before developing a plan that can be efficient, for human resource planning have regard to the purposes we want to achieve by planning them.

Human Resource Planning

A human resources plan is a detailed plan for a human resources department that outlines the future direction and strategies of the department. This can include the department goals, missions and employee plans. These plans must be beneficial to the business in question. In other words, a human resources plan is one that ensures the current employees are capable of completing the required tasks to keep the business operating and advancing on the market (Gerhart, 2006).

Objectives of Human Resource Planning

Human resource planning must be some excellence in the production process as a key factor in the development of all activities related to the sector through the involvement of managers and employees who are highly trained and qualified.

Human resource planning, also aims to make a diagnosis about the changes in the organization and structure, you need to take the company, contributing to the improvement of all methods and styles of human resource planning in order to have greater involvement, commitment and motivation of leaders and employees to develop an organizational culture that belongs in a particular way to the company. Finally, we say that human resource planning is required to prepare the resources of the company, so that it is able to act quickly and efficiently every time there is a corresponding change in the environment to which it belongs (Huselid, 2009).

A human resources plan will explain the role of the HR department in the business. It is important that the role is clearly defined, so the department knows what to address on a weekly basis. Common human resources goals can include recruiting and training new employees, conducting an extensive interview process to ensure the right candidates are chosen for jobs and creating benefit plans for new and existing employees.

Even though, the tasks of a human resources department may be continuous and repetitive, the department should have a set of goals that are outlined in the plan.
