The practices of human resource management are aimed at mobilizing and development of human possessions for the deliverance of greater performance of the organization. In this study we try to explore the concept of Managing People in a holistic context.

Human resources are a term used to describe the individuals who comprise the workforce of an organization. Human Resource Management (HRM) is a formal program designed to enhance the effective and efficient use of staff to achieve organizational goals. Essentially it is that people practice and hiring new employees to become members of their success to manage its separation from the scope of the company. Human Resources (HR) professionals to manage these programs, you can generalists or specialists. Following are typical of a wide range of organisations:

It is HRM responsibility for hiring proficient people, train them, encourage them to compete at high levels, and providing systems to make sure that the employees retain their productive association with the company. There is maybe no new crucial topic in HRM than the selection of employee, as correct hiring drives the business towards the accurate direction and trains them to gain competitive advantage above the competitors. A company fails to reach its strategic company objectives by lacking efficient people and accurate training (Yeung, 2008, Pp 66).

Human Resource Management process is a series of logical steps through which attract candidates for a position and the right people are elected to fill a vacancy. Through recruitment organization can know who the applicants to be presented are those most likely to be hired to perform effectively the work assigned. This process involves matching the skills, interests, aptitudes and personality of the applicant with the job specifications. When the selection is not done well the human resources department does not achieve the objectives identified above also adverse selection can prevent entry into the organization of a person with great potential or cross the entrance to someone with negative influence that can affect the organizational success.

The number of steps in the recruitment and selection process varies according to the size of the organization, the hierarchical level and the type of position you want to take, the cost of each stage and the effectiveness of it to eliminate candidates that do not meet the requirements for certain occupations.
