This report describes the importance, objective, implementations and recommendations of Work life Balance Polices and Stress Management Polices which are the most considerable Human Resource Tools of today's world. These both polices have become one of the utmost needs of every organization because the employment trends and conditions have changed enormously in the corporate society. Women have been incorporated as a labour force in emergent figures, and now families need numerous earners to fulfil their basic needs. Despite of all working conditions, family still require attention, some need to be taken to school, some need to be taken to hospitals and an individual also need time for his personal relaxation. Moreover, some adult employees are completing their degrees. Because these situations have caused many workers to face conflicts between their work and their personal lives, so, they instigate a need for more flexibility in the workplace and with these changing trends employers need a stress management and work life balance policies to control the stress and conflicts (Quality Assurance Agency 2011, P.01).

Introduction

Stress Management and Work-Life balance polices are the most important requirement for employers and employees because this is an era of materialism and human values are declining day by day, every next walk results a new conflict and stress. So, it is very much crucial for employers to understand the working psychology of its employees. Whenever employees suffer from stress and fell unbalance in their work and life, it deliberately affects the efficiency of both, so it is the core duty of an employer to identify the stressed and unbalance work-life employees as soon as possible (dol.govt.nz 2011).

Following is a proposed course of actions of Stress Management Policies which can reduce the level of stress.

Provide the immediate medical treatment in case of severe stress.

Allow a suitable span of time to recover.

Provide an employee an ease to came back and continue the work.

Providing extra social benefits.

Discuss and adjust the duties by decreasing the load.

Set up a counselling session to discuss ways to reduce the stress.

Here is a course of action of Work-Life balance polices which can reduce the turnover and can motivate the employee to work whole heartedly.

A complete lifestyle with compensation program.

A comfortable work life and profession development.

Training and development.

Health benefits (personal and siblings).

Children education program.

Suitable time for social activities.

Suitable time for recreational activity (on the job and off job).

Work-life balance is one of the most effective Human Resource Tool for managing and evaluating the responsibilities and actions lie between the official work and the personal activities that are essential too.
