Introduction

Effective management of human capital in any organization is of utmost importance for driving profit and growth in the long run. Strategic human resource management can be effectively implemented by linking the strategic goals and objectives of the organization with its human resource work processes and operation for better performance of the organization. Human resource function are significant in terms of planning and implementations of organizational objectives, therefore it is extremely important to make them an important part of the planning process while formulation of strategic objectives. Managing employee satisfaction and motivating them to work hard through different formal and informal motivational programs of meeting their career expectations, needs and aspirations can play an important role in improving employee performance and organization growth and success (Mathanas, 2011).

Analysis of HRM Framework

A typical HRM framework consist of important HRM processes that involves hiring and recruitment process of employees and then assessing their training and development needs on a regular basis to improve performance and motivation level of employee. It is very important to manage the human resource in an effective manner rewarding them whenever needed and managing their expectations. They must be provided with opportunities for career development and other extra facilities that under the category of employee retention by offering health and safety programs (Ebreo).

HRM Processes

The HRM consist of following important processes and stages.

HRM Planning

This involves recruiting or attracting the right type of people for the job in question and it is very important to match the job description and hiring criteria with the skills and qualification of the candidate. The second step in planning is that of selection in which the candidates are analyzed and filtered according to their skills and expertise that are required to do the job. Then comes the stage when the employee is finally hired to work in the organization by singing of appointment letter and other formalities. The last stage involves continuous training and development of employees for improving their skills and competency according to the needs and challenges faced by organization in the market.

Employee Remuneration and Benefits Administration

This step involved administration of salaries, wages, incentives and perks. Money is the main motivating factor behind employee performance therefore it is very important to provide them with bonuses and perks in relation to their performance for better performance

Performance Management

This involves integration of all the important functions that like employee performance, customer process, department etc. It is important to train, motivate and reward employees if they improve and perform well.

Employee Relations

It involves provision for labor laws, assessment for employee health and safety, employee counselling for work related stress, conflict between employees or with management and other such situations (Management Study Guide, 2008).
