Job Description

A manager is usually associated with services to guests in hotels and resorts, but a reception manager can be used in a number of different areas. A recording manager can lead to the reception duties in an office or company, at the front desk of a hospital or in a car dealership. A reception manager could be responsible for the implementation of reception duties alone or as part of a team, and the role also supervises other employees receive.

Greeting Guests

No matter what industry a reception manager, it is used, a common task of the reception is to welcome and receive guests. The reception manager is usually sit at the front desk of an office building or hotel and greets guests as they get into the building (Florkowski, 2006). Most managers will also receive additional administrative duties as needed. Additional duties may include filing documents, typing memos, processing mail, provide final financial transactions and all other administrative work by supervisors and managers.

Main Responsibility 

The receptionist has a dual function: reception and administrative work. He greets guests upon arrival. He informs them about the conditions of living, formalities, services and prices from the hotel. He visited the rooms and assigns. He filled the pages of arrival and departure. He delivers mail clients and handles their telephone communications (Blunt, 2001).
