Effective Human Resource Management can change the entire look of the organization by allowing it to work much smoothly. The Contribution of Human Resource Management in the growth of the organization cannot be denied. Today the role of Human Resource Management has been greatly altered, with experts believing that it is about time when HRM should be seen as the Strategic Partner. Not as another wing of the organization which tends to indulge in the routine administrative and operational tasks of the company. Human Resource Management tends to be considered as the backbone of any organization because it is HRM which can deploy the workforce.

 In a way, to increase the overall output of the employees thus resulting in greater profitability of the organization. Human Resource management tends to create an environment within an organization where competition tends to increase in the organization (Dooley & Alagaraja 2002). Allowing better results to be achieved by the organization along with the better management of the employees. So that, the productive employees be circled along with those who are less productive and are acting as the burden on the organization. It is very important in today's world to align Human Resource Management with the hierarchy so that the organization can compete with the outside world. EEO and Affirmative Action

Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) is the indication regarding how efficient Human Resource Management is. EEO tends to provide uniform platform to all applicants who tends to fulfill the requirements of a job. EEO also helps the organization as well as the applicants by developing a hiring process which is transparent in nature. The primary objective of EEO is to ensure that all applicants do not be judged based on their color, cast or creed. Nor any gender bias tends to be taken into account both during the process of hiring and post-hiring. It also allows individuals to grow as per the hard work and skills he or she tends to possess. By providing the same platform to all applicants and employees, the Human Resource Management tends to extract the best out of the individual thus raising the set benchmarks, allowing the company to grow at much faster rate (Bennington, 2006)

As EEO aims to remove any existing discrimination, if practiced within an organization whereas Affirmative action gives a chance to rectify any discrimination in the past. However, many experts still tend to believe that organizations tend to have a bias towards females, people with disabilities or with those who does not constitute a majority.
