Contemporary Development in Human Resource Development

Introduction

Development of Human Resources - a structure designed to help employees develop their personal and organizational skills, knowledge, and abilities. Human Resource Development includes such opportunities as employee training, employee career development, management of work and training, career planning, definition of key personnel, assistance in training and organization development (Werner 2011, pp. 520-523). The centre of all aspects of Human Resource Development focuses on developing the most superior workforce so that the organization and individual employees can achieve their goals at work. Modern conditions of production suggest that the most decisive factor is people, and therefore, the greatest attention paid by managers around the world is the development of human resources.

For employees today, have to be resourceful, erudite, civilized man, who also has a shrewd mind. These results can come only consistently developing the company's staff to realize the potential of its employees contributed to the prosperity of the organization. To this end, various individual and group activities that can be arranged with departures as well as in the workplace. Their goal to develop a general or special skills and abilities of the employee on the level of an individual depends on the overall development of the collective, its cohesion, understanding the ultimate goal of their work (Stewart 2001, pp. 395-396). This refers not only to the level of training but also common human values by which is easier to pass the changes in the company. People can work with pleasure if the right conditions got created. Large European companies are paying the human resources and their development much more attention and importance than domestic.

This section aims to review the merits of learning in the workplace and human resource development. This section focuses on two themes in particular, learning for trainers and learning for managers and its space and insertion in Human Resource Development (HRD). Both disciplines are evolving in both research and practical issues and present integrated and related in its scope.

Learning

Learning in the Human Resource Development and the workplace are considered as valid topics of study (Jacobs, & Park, 2009). There is a strong emphasis on the explanation on the roles of employees in the perspective of learning in the workplace, particularly trainers and managers. In this perspective, Human Resource Development is usually depicted as a formal organizational practice that is designed to improve the possible involvement of human resources to organization. The literature on strategy and management presents a strong contention that the effectiveness of organization requires learning expertise levels in both trainers and managers.

The discussion on learning in the workplace highlights the specific and complex learning context. Generally differences are held among informal, incidental and formal learning.
