Introduction

Race is often defined as either a biological concept, or a socially constructed measure or an illusionary tactic to set apart one group from another. Although there is not as much evidence to support a difference in biological meaning in describing race, there are legal constructions behind the social meaning on the word. In this paper, I will examine the evidence and implications of the distinctive social meaning of race in a modern society.
