ABSTRACT
Beauty is not defined, it is recognized. It is a quality, a concept, a feeling, which is characterized by its relativity: there is no universal standard even though there are approaches to all, close to the perfection that exists only as an ideal. What emerged in painting, sculpture, architecture, and design was distinguished by the use of materials, techniques and forms generating meanings that departed, often radically, from previous artistic traditions. Art is a trigger for the mechanism of remembering. Artistic works are landmarks in the topography of collective memory. The purpose of this study is to explore the concept of human desires and power through the arts mirror and blend of personified art.
