According to latest survey conducted in Australia in relation to the AHRI Model of Excellence and around 784 HR manager working in different organizations, it was suggested that the human resource department and managers ranked low in terms of using effective human resource practices and employing of those practices for better performance of employees. This marks the need to improve the competency level of Human resource managers for effective functioning of the department, employees and organization as a whole (Picket, 2002, pp.16).
Human resource management is extremely important for providing the organization with the right type of resources that are supportive and efficient in terms of meeting organization objective and mission. HRM marks people as the most important resource in making an organization a success or a failure.
