Introduction

I've always been very interested in new technologies, the latest gadgets of all kinds. It's impressive to see the evolution of all MP3 players, smartphones, laptops, and they found the public in 10 years. Sure, ca moves extremely quickly: you are more interested in any of these products for some time, and you can be sure you'll miss the latest developments. It's true; there are services that are very interesting and useful. However, in retrospect, I realize how to have a permanent internet access in his pocket can be invasive; I was often tempted to check messages or useless info with a simple finger swipe. Ease of Communication

Direct consequence of this rise in consumption of high-tech product: we are increasingly subjected to a continuous flow of information, available immediately, no matter where you are. In the end, we spend a long time to produce and consume information. These objects are supposed to simplify our lives? Everything depends on the use that is in fact. They can sometimes make us more complex, making us believe that we must create new needs .. Do we really need to put us on yet another social réeseau, and monitor progress on a smartphone?

For cons, I remain convinced that some technologies can really simplify our lives. For example, I love reading; I always have a book waiting to be read. When I travel, I like to bring with me two books. However, I like to travel light, even if I go for a few weeks, and to take books with me can be a constraint of weight and space. Then I think that products like the Kindle is a great solution to this problem: a large number of books, grouped on a shelf, it really make life easier in my opinion, and I find that unlike some other high tech, the Kindles respond really well to this need!

That said, I think that most high-tech products are really great, not always easy to use, but really useful. Most important is to not overuse these products, and why we own them. Are we meeting a need, or a fad? If we do not have that kind of hindsight, we end up falling into the trap of addiction production / consumption data, which becomes increasingly time consuming. Finally, by falling into this trap, our lives become more complicated, without anyone noticing necessarily account (Haugen & Musser, 2007).
