Objective

The objective of the study is to determine the impact of technology on the global economy. The study will provide a thorough analysis of the technological processes and how do they impact the global economy. Rapid advances in technology have worked as a medium in the process of globalization. The process of globalization has led to many changes since past times which make it different form the past times. In today's capital market apart from commodities and products information and capital has become has become a major thing to be traded. Technological changes allow the capital to move immediately. Furthermore, some time before products and capital were rooted to a place (Ahmad, Jorgenson, 2005). In recent time, many things which are produced and then traded in the global market such as computer technology, knowledge are mobile. This has been possible through a network of satellites which are orbiting in space far behind us, wired and wireless networks, undersea fibre optic cables, cellular phones, wireless computers, laptop and palmtop etc. This is all possible because of the electronic system around us.

Information technology market is one of the newest and most active emerging markets in the global economy. Its rapid development, the researchers put the issue of a clear definition of its nature, characteristics and market structure. Key concepts of the paper are the term "information technology", which uses the two terms information and technology. However, these concepts have not yet developed standard approaches(Chiu, Anthony, 2009). It is therefore necessary to consider the interpretation of these terms with the modern views, which will specify the position in the analysis of international trade in information technology. Information is a concept which, on the one hand, it is widespread, indicating that it is transparent and indispensability, on the other hand, his scientific and philosophical understanding are subject to certain constraints.

The literature review for the study would be based on secondary research through which we will visit various scholarly articles. The study will be based on visiting different libraries and databases such as EBSCO, Sage, Proquest and Google Books etc. The most relevant and refined studies will be selected for the study which will also include recent as well as past studies related to it. Information technology is important and their use is widespread in a spectacular way that has generated huge revenues to the global economy (Jorgenson, Stiroh, 2000). Today the computer is present through the computer or computer in any office, business and banks, virtually anywhere you manage information.
