ABSTRACT

In this research study the merger of T- Mobile and Orange has been used as a case study to develop better understanding of how technological advancement has been evidenced in the telecommunication sector of UK. In the recent years, much significant advancement has been witnessed in the field of technology. However, this advancement in technology owes a lot to the advancement evidenced in the telecommunication sector. The merger of T- Mobile and Orange is one of the most successful mergers that have been evidenced recently. The merger has led to the foundation E.E Telecommunication which is one of the largest and leading network and mobile operating company of UK. The company after the merger is in a better form and is executing more qualitative services to its customers. The operations of E.E. Telecommunication have expanded providing services to more customers than before. Additionally, the company is on the verge of saving cost through effective integration between their operations. More than 28 million people are now being served with the competitive serves of E.E Telecommunication across boundaries and languages. All this has been established through the effective collaboration and integration that enabled E.E Telecommunication gain competitive alliance through the merger.
