Abstract

Effectiveness of interventions for mental health nurse has not been generally established in literature. In this systematic review of randomized controlled trials (RCTs) were identified, carried out in United Kingdom, where mental health interventions delivered by mental health nurses has been evaluated. Main online databases were searched in literature; key journals hand searched and authors contacted principal, resulting in the total of 52 studies, involving at least 7,172 service users. Data were extracted and then all identified tests were assessed for addition by two reviewers. Results showed that in UK, nurses are involved in providing the wide range of interventions in the variety of clinical health settings, with largely positive results.
