Abstract
In this study we try to explore the concept of “Forced marriages” in a holistic context. The main focus of the research is on “Forced marriages” and its relation with “the society”. The research also analyzes many aspects of “Forced marriages” and tries to gauge its effect on “the society”. Finally the research describes various factors which are responsible for “Forced marriages” and tries to describe the overall effect of “Forced marriages” on “the society”.

Chapter 1: Introduction
Forced marriage is to marry someone against their will. It is organized by families who do not respect or do not care about the non-consent for their child. Young people who try to escape are often confronted as a family break with all the dangers and the difficulties this may cause.
Forced marriage is distinct from the white wedding which means that two people decide to marry for various reasons but no proposed marriage. It is punishable by law.
Forced marriage is the term used to describe a marriage in which one of the two parties is married without his consent or against their will. Forced marriage is not the same as arranged marriage in which both parties consent to their parents or a third person (as a matchmaker) the choice of a spouse The practice of forced marriage was widespread among the upper classes Europe until 1900 , and is still carried out in South Asia , Middle East and Africa . Immigrants from these geographic areas are being implemented such marriages in communities established in Western Europe and North America. Most spouses are unwilling women although there are cases in which victims are men. (Watt, 1999, 9)
Forced marriages are no longer a thing of the past or occur only in exotic lands. With the arrival of immigrants, some practices that were already considered exiled in Europe return to the news. On 3 June, the Department dInterior of the Generalitat de Catalunya presented a procedure whereby police will be provided for forced marriages and punish. The Catalan initiative is nothing unusual when you consider that in countries with more experience in immigration, like Britain, there are stable groups within the police to prevent abduction and abuse for marriage.
