Introduction

The Apex Home Builders in Abu Dhabi boasts of certain future plans that are destined to transform the business outlook and the corporate landscape of the Emirates while contributing towards the societal well-being of the country. Our company “Apex Home Builders” is one of the biggest construction contractors in the country and we plan to build 11 houses this year. Now, we have been hired by a family who live in Abu Dhabi and wants us to build them their dream house. They need two floors, 200 sq. m for each floor or 400 sq. m altogether.

Project Scope Statement

A Scope Statement ensures that both the user and the sponsor and the project team will be confirmed as the final deliverables of the project, including deliverables that add value and are aligned to the objectives to be met. Deliverables should be specific, measurable, and a realistic time frame. The scope is a description of the project boundary, defines what undertakes to achieve their project goals. The scope is the set of all the activities the project has defined and then will use to define the schedule and budget. Management Project Scope includes the processes required to ensure to include all the work required, and only the work required to complete the project successfully. The main concern of scope management is to define and control what is included and not to be included in the project.

This scope statement establishes the key deliverables of the project in a well-defined manner. It carries much information of use, for the project in question because one of the main causes for project failure is poor project scope management; either because the manager project does not dedicate enough time to define the work, or because there was no good management of scope, leading to added unauthorized work or budgeted for the project, this is known such as changes in scope. The alteration of the scope, or changes not controlled in the project scope, is the tendency of a project to include more tasks than originally specified, the which often causes higher costs of planned and extending the project completion date.

This project is being undertaken to establish a new residence for Mr. and Mrs. Sheikh Nyan. The new residence will be located at Khaldia Road, Abu Dhabi. The project is to commence on July 2, 2012 and will complete no later than November 30, 2012.

Work Breakdown Structure

Deliverable is any outcome, document, measurable, tangible or verifiable, resulting from the completion of some project or project. Example is a specification and a feasibility study for the project. Generally, the project team and participants approve deliverables before the project started. Clarifying the deliverables at the beginning of a project ensures that the results and the project objectives are in line with business objectives of the company.
