The Homecare Housing Association is the most professional association in United Kingdom for all of the associated organizations which provide care, which also includes the nursing care, to all of those people who are in their own homes. The chief aim of this association is identifying and promoting the high home care standards. Additionally, the home care Association considers the information over the acts and good practice as the main point of focus for bringing quality and innovation in the care industry. The organizations with full members either undergo with the vetting procedures, or they might produce various evidences through which they have been synchronized by the suitable regulatory body. Once the organization is in membership, it promises to further adhere to the code of practice of the Homecare Housing Association. The Homecare Housing Association manages 20 units spread over south east England. This comprises 10 ex-local authority council housing estates, three ex-local authority old people's homes and seven new, purpose built special needs housing developments, mostly sheltered housing for the disabled.
Over the last 12 years, the association has grown from a small voluntary group running two new housing developments for the elderly to an organization employing around 600 people. 40% of the workforce is male and 60% female. Women are concentrated in certain roles and departments, particularly in the Auxiliary, Nursing and Office Staff groups. There has been no redundancy when contracts are taken over and a great deal of local autonomy is given to managers. Public service, unpaid service, trust and openness have ensured that there is a strong philanthropic element permeating the organization. There have been certain issues that the employees of Homecare Housing Association are facing from last few years. Since, this association needs to re-locate the Human Resource planning process for the future development of the company. This study is the overview of the Human Resource issues that are being faced by the executive and support level staff of the Homecare Housing Association. This study is conducted to evaluate the possible Human Resource issues which are being conducted within the organization and development of the possible newly designed HR strategies for rapid growth and high equal employment opportunity achievement of the company.
