The book Worlds' Religions was written by Huston Smith, in the honor of 50th anniversary, the book explore the essential teachings and elements of the world predominant faiths such as Buddhism, Hinduism, Taoism, Confucianism, Judaism, Islam, and Christianity. The author focuses on inner rather than institutional dimension of faith. Huston Smith gives special attention to indigenous religions, Sufism, Zen, Jesus teachings and Tibetan Buddhism. The author successfully conveys the extraordinary gift and appeals of each customs and divulges their hold on imagination and on the human heart.
