Introduction

In 1968, Nolan Bushnell worked in computer graphics division of Ampex. Later in 1962, he created the simplest version of a computer game. He took the help with of an MIT graduate student. He named this new computer game as Computer Space. In 1972, he introduced a new game known as “Pong”. He gradually became successful and in no time, he started selling his machines. By 1974, around 100,000 Pong like games were sold throughout the world (Charles, 2007).
