The US one of the most developed country with some of the most lenient gun controls where most of (50%) of the adults own guns. Owning guns is considered as part of the American culture inspired by the image of the frontier and the settlers who had to defend them selves against the natives and wild animals. In addition to this, the right to bear arms in imbedded deep into American existence as evident by the bills of rights including the second Amendment which supports the of bearing arms by a militia that is important for the existent of the free state.
