Many evidences found by the historians show that the first inhabitants of America may not be the parents of Americans today, but were the people who came in the continent from southern Pacific area or Southeast Asia (Lovgren, 2003). Around 15000 years ago, people entered America from Bernigia (Science Daily, 2009). it is believed that Native Americans were migrated from Northeast Asia; they arrived through a landmark bridge in between Alaska and Siberia. Research also shows that around 13,500 years ago, people from Southeast Asia arrived America; this is before the Mongolians arrived. In the Northern America, caches of Clovis tools are found at large scale which made the archeologists agree on the fact that Clovis were the first people to arrive in North America.

In 1790, America had a population of 4 million, out of which almost 90 percent were the farmers. Thus, the farm labor was the most common occupation of the people. People consider it a matter of virtue to work in the farms. By 1859, the population of country grew to 23 million, and the proportion of farmers reduced to 64 percent. These farmers were able to find ample land for the purpose of cultivation and raising livestock in West of America (Library of Congress, 2013).

A number of wars took place during the period when America was developed or revolution ended. In fact, out of 179 years, 79 years were spent in the declared war or conflicts (Zelner, 2008).
