Theodore Roosevelt and Free Capitalist Society

Theodore was not an anti-business person. He believed in the power of a strong executive branch. He believed that the executive branch should have the power to define and protect the interest of public. Therefore, he succeeded in creating the Bureau of Corporations that had the responsibility to investigate the businesses of various corporations and use that information to determine the amount of public interest that these companies had.
