Introduction

To understand the present and project into the future, we must understand the past. It's amazing how the study of history will reveal the root of most of the problems that we live today. History is marked as the shape and style of life of human beings, to see how it is that we act in the present to analyze what happened in the past. The study of history allows us to learn from the past and appreciate all that is behind what we have and do. The American history is hardly taught in the schools of United Staes. It is believed that the reason behind it is the shame that Americans feel about their ancestors. Thus, there are not many people who know the original history of America (Marder & Tice, 2005, pp. 28). The "clash" that represents all levels since the discovery of this great continent untouched in 1492 was explained in a documentary broadcast on arte: environmental destruction, massacre of the natives, new farming "modern" complete remodeling of the economy.
