In the past decade has seen the emergence of contentious music in American pop culture. Hip-hop music is a dominant force in the music industry and now more than ever, songs that contain violence such as rape, murder and drugs and gun use. Listeners, especially the teenage audience, led to the growth of some of the most brutal lyrical writing in the top of the Billboard Charts. Albums such as The Slim Shady LP, where the rapper Eminem says in the murder of his wife and her drowned in the lake, remained in first place for several weeks(Dyson 2007 ). Does violence in music influence young minds to act more aggressively, or it is surrounded by a teenage? One of the reasons used by rappers and musicians for violent music is that the environment they were raised in. This is not a valid reason for teens who use guns in violent Rampage in a rural or suburban area. Hip-hop music is part of pop culture and like a rock n 'roll, there will be lots of teenagers and young adults who suffer from the music. Music acts as a sear gate of the government like the parents, whose children and teenagers will act on what is known through the lyrics.
Violence and criminal activity among youth are the result of basic social and economic issues, which in this case were compounded by marginalization and the inability to integrate into American society. In the case of Outlaws and the Lost Boys, these fundamental problems is the lack of access to education, as well as other structured activities, programs and opportunities, and the deprivation of traditional sources of identity, respect and manhood(Ro 2003).Groups, criminals and the Lost Boys, play a positive role in the lives of these young people. They support each other emotionally and financially, helping each other in finding housing and jobs. They also ensure that if one member is in the hospital that he has access to food, clothing and money as needed. Young people often pooled their money together to help members who may be going through a particularly rough time. In addition, both groups plan structured recreational activities such as football tournaments, parties, Nile cruises and trips to the beach.
Hip hop identity
At the individual level, these young people decided to take a physical manifestation of hip-hop identity (dress, manners external). This exercise does not attempt to mimic the African-American culture, but rather a rejection of the proscribed refugee identity characterized by poverty and lack of opportunity in favor of identity, which emphasizes the richness of material and financial success. In excluded from mainstream society, they have decided to revise those who demand respect, and identified these individuals as non-whites, who oppose the system, overcome obstacles and promote African / black identity, especially hip-hop and African-American sports stars but the best known and respected figure of the time, Bob Marley.
