Introduction

A healthcare system is an integral part of our daily lives. It is comprised of set of organizations that is run by expert people by using adequate quality and number of resources. The main purpose of these institutions is to deliver the effective healthcare services. The healthcare system can be funded in fives ways, which are social health insurance, taxes received from state, donations, cash paid by healthcare users directly and private health insurance. The total expenditure made by healthcare system should be equated against the revenue sources. These sources of expenses can be derived from income of workers in healthcare system and additional profits earned by them. The sources of revenues are mentioned in the beginning of this paper. The equation is expressed as TF = SI =UC +PI = P * Q = W * Z (Mossialos, Dixon, et al., 2002). The primary purpose of this paper is to recommend sources of funding for healthcare services of ambulance, long term care services and mental and behavior health services.

Ambulatory Care

This type of healthcare involves a wide variety of services that are availed by patients. These services are much more common at clinics, emergency care units, surgery units, imaging departments primary care units, community health centers, and mental health clinics. The significance of these services has expanded since 1980s. Its growth has been dependent on the need for insurers and government role to control cost associated to health care system.
