I have a passion to provide my services in health care industry by gaining academic background and expertise in nursing and health care delivery area. I aim to be a registered nurse holding a bachelor's degree concerned with healthcare delivery. I aspire to work as a registered healthcare practitioner in several hospitals, clinics and health care facilities. My primary area of focus would be to offer healthcare services to the adult population by attending to their psychosocial needs and issues. However, my career goal revolves around the attainment of the position of a practitioner nurse. For this reason, I need to have a master's degree in nursing. I am planning to take admission into masters of nursing after completing my bachelors. On the completion of the master's degree in nursing I would be eligible for applying for the license of nurse practitioner. I did not require me to go to a medical school. However, I would have to develop the skills to apply for a practitioner nurse by obtaining a specialized training along with passing the exam of license of nurse practitioner. The rationale for going into the field is that nurse practitioners are highly in demand in local and state hospitals, clinics and almost every health care facility (Walsh, 1999). Furthermore, US population and specifically the baby boomer segment is entering retirement ages. As such the demands to cope with the psychosocial factors would have plenty of spaces to fill.

After gaining experience in the avenue of healthcare delivery, I would be able to earn a handsome amount of money through which I can support my family and enhance my life style.
