Introduction

Healthcare disparities refers to the differences in specific populations in the way health services are provided to them and how the health outcomes are impacted by the quality of the health provided to them. It is important for the people to realize the importance of health disparities and how it impacts the well being of a person. Inefficiency is the major cause of healthcare disparities and how it promotes such practices that impact the healthcare system. There are many reasons as to why this gap exists; however, it should be made sure that people get the right treatment and that they are able to make sure that no difference exists in their way of working. Discussion

About a third of the U.S. population belong to ethnic minorities constitute over 50 percent of the 50 million people without health insurance. Within this group, the most affected are Hispanics, with 31 percent of the uninsured community. According to the Secretary of Health and Human Services of the United States, the result is reduced with access to preventive health care which has resulted that Latinos are more prone to serious diseases such as diabetes or heart disease, and when this happens, they have limited access to treatments and medicines and they need to improve (Cheng, Et.al, 2007). As a result, a huge number of Hispanics get sick and die young live in the United States. 

Law on health care at low prices says that it is a patient's failure not to take prescribed medications because they cannot afford them, or someone did not bring their sick child to the emergency room because they did not have health insurance. These are just some of the problems recurrent faced by physicians in this country. This is the kind of problem that cannot be resolved by the work of a doctor. It can be solved together, as a country, the Secretary of Health and Human Services of the United States said. The Secretary said "the Obama administration has been working on this for the last few years and have witnessed major achievements and working together, they can get many more."
