Principles of support are important for success of any health and social care setting. With respect to social care they comprises of set of values which are identified as having intrinsic worth & integrity. As stated before that support is essential since without it, health and social setting cannot be successful. The main factor on the basis of which individual select appropriate health and support services is only good support services. This shows that treatment that would be offer to the individual is caring and valuable. For instances, people having learning disabilities need supporting services in order to make sure that they receive excellent care (Advanced Health and Social Care, 2012).

Moreover, Confidentiality on the other is also important i.e. since it is the right of human that their problems remain with the person they trust on. In few countries governments are considering this issue so that they can improve their citizen wellbeing. In Wales, services and support are termed to embraces home-care assistance such as shopping, cleaning and disability equipment, day centres for giving person a proper care.
