Healthcare Profession is one of the noblest jobs in the world. It would be more magnificent in its virtue if it is combined with healthcare which entails the compassion and spiritual care. The compassionate and spiritual care has significant role in healthcare delivery because it helps professionals to dedicate themselves fully towards caring the sick and feeble who seek them for relief from their sufferings. There is difference of thought between delivery of medical services and delivery of medical care.
The difference lies in compassion and spirituality. Researchers, scholar, academicians and healthcare professionals have common consensus that without compassionate and spirituality care, we can only perform the role of managers and providers rather than healthcare professionals to deliver medical care. This in elementary sense can be defined that without compassionate and spiritual care a medicine would be like a physician who does know treats their patients without heart and soul. More and more countries across the globe understand the importance of delivery of compassionate care and are not incorporating the cultural changes and work policies. This entails that every professional entering in medicine and healthcare which include physicians, doctors, nurses and the like will have undergo the primarily motivation class of compassion for patients.

Various researchers have been conducted in the recent past which emphasizes the importance of compassionate care in healthcare settings. The soothing words greatly provide the automatic relief and cure to the health and body conditions of patients. The compassion caring is therefore more than what is merely called delivering care to someone (Hunnicutt, 2010). It also means to sympathize where doctors, nurses and healthcare professionals suffer with their patients. The part of solidarity would result in effective cure for sufferers. The authors also examined that when pain places itself in patient body, the few soothing and compassion words would work to replace that pain where it hurts. Their study found that those patients who are highly vulnerable to medical problems and psychological problems have shown effective mental and emotional recovery in healthcare with compassionate care (Carson, 2004).
