Abstract

The social and emotional aspects of a child play an important role in his transmission into a new phase of life. In the midst of this transition he has to undergo a lot of complexities and challenges many strategies has been devised in order to help the children and young people to overcome their social emotional and behavioral needs. The case study would use the children to assess the impact and affects of the governmental strategies in the development of these children. On the basis of the study evaluation will be made in regards with the impact on the children. It will assess whether the outcome is positive, influential enough and the limitations and hindrances in the interventions made.

Introduction

Every child is important and deserves better treatment both by the parents and the social community around him. The children and young people's services are those services that are provided to the children in terms of health, welfare and social problems. The children have to confront greater complexity and challenges of the world in the midst of their transition from a child to a young person. The uncertainties and risks that come in their way provide them a choice to select between the best and wrong.

The eminent and resourceful strategies made on government level provide the basis for efficient delivery of education and care to children having emotional, social and other related difficulties. With the help of well skilled and committed professionals proactive and effective outcomes can be achieved if there is a better collaboration and coordination between the working groups.

There are many strategies and ways that could be used to develop the social and emotional aspect in the young children. These strategies can play a substantial role in the development of the children and can have a great impact on the transformation of young peoples' life. Though it has been a tragedy that not much has been done to provide evidence based on the social and emotional developments of the children. It has been considered too difficult to measure the outcomes in them. Lack of collaboration and interest has not done much for the progressive development of such children.

Discussion

SEBD-Social Emotional and Behavioral Difficulties

At present the contribution at government level is needed to help develop strategies that could help the care providers improve the SEBD children and enhance the chances of their better development. Not much has been done and the lack of collaboration between the personnel who provide care and the government has appeared to be poor (Cole (2010): 1).

The professionals involved in help children with SEBD have to undergo lot difficulties, at times even dangers when handling such children. The stresses upon these professionals have greatly increased and involved physical exhaustion and emotional pressures and draining.
