Introduction

In the contemporary healthy care industry patient-doctor relation has become a highly significant factor. This relationship is not only limited to the care giving factor, rather it is a contract based agreement, where the doctor or any other health care professional has agreed to perform his task as per the legal and ethical code of conduct. As a professional and practitioner of the medical field every doctor or physician has a responsibility to uphold certain standards of quality and ethics (Bobinski, 1993). The negligence to perform these duties in a comprehensive manner can result in legal course of action against the relevant health care professional, and as a consequence criminal charges can also be developed against such as individual. It is due to these reasons that the health care professional must carry out their professional obligations with the utmost respect and meticulous care. Any negligence on the part of these professional can result in very serious concerns for the patients, hence it is also the ethical and moral responsibility of these professionals to provide high standards of care for the patients.
