Question 1: Meaning of Health Equity

Healthcare equity basically refers to the study of the differences in the quality of healthcare and health that is observed in different populations in different areas. The main types of differences that are included and studied in health equity include the presence of disease, access to healthcare and the healthy outcomes across ethnic, racial, socioeconomic and sexual orientation groups (Brennan Ramirez, 2008).
