Introduction

The health disparities are the dissimilarities in the outcomes of health that are present in the different subgroups of the population. The dissimilarities and disadvantages can be environmental, social and economic that include unsafe neighborhood, less access to good jobs and lack of affordable transportation. The health disparities have produced effects on people who are experiencing barriers to health which are dependent on religion, gender, age, socioeconomic status, racial or ethnic group, sensory, mental health, cognitive, gender identity, sexual orientation, geographic location, physical disability and other features that are connected to exclusion or discrimination (Pearcy & Keppel, 2002). ...
