Abstract

The paper discusses about the health care system which includes several aspects of not just one heath care system of a country but comparing two countries. This is the main agenda of the paper which will discuss the topic and compare the related and dissimilar aspects of health care systems of both the countries. The countries that have been chosen to compare with are England and United States of America. In order to provide quality care to every individual there are a number of potential solutions which must be used to improve the current healthcare system.

Introduction

Patient safety emerged as a central pillar in all strategies to initiate health development programs and quality management in hospitals. Health care should be considered as a complex activity involving a combination of actions, technology and professional interactions. Thus, the paper discusses about the health care system which includes several aspects of not just one heath care system of a country but comparing two countries. The countries that have been chosen to compare with are England and United States of America. This is the main agenda of the paper which will discuss the topic and compare the related and dissimilar aspects of health care systems of both the countries (Shi, 2008).

Health Care System of United States of America

There is no doubt that the basic health care, represent the first level of contact of individuals, family and community health system and national, which makes health care as close as possible to places of living and working individuals (Shi, Singh, 2008). This represents the first component of the health care process ongoing, and includes a specific set of basic services that provide treatment, a cost-effective impact of important health problems for residents (Shi, Singh, 2008). This is in addition to the prevention of disease and improving health behavior in an integrated and socially acceptable, with a focus on the participation of families and communities has gone through basic care process of evolutionary network services to reach service to the citizens in no more than 5 km to access these services and improve the quality and advancement of the previous three years (Patel, Rushefsky, 2008). There are several services for basic health care is in its entirety as follows:

Maternal and child care and family planning.

Proper nutrition.

Control of infectious diseases and basic vaccinations.

Environmental sanitation.

Prevention and treatment of endemic diseases.

Emergency and curative services.

Provision of essential drugs.

Registration and Medical Statistics.

Some programs have been developed in support of basic health care services such as:

Program to reduce disability.

Program of care for the elderly (Patel, Rushefsky, 2008).

Office of Statistics Center for Medicare and Medicaid programs has published an analysis of total health expenditure in the U.S, including not only historical data, and projected costs.
