Choosing a proper health care plan is essential for an individual's life. One must carefully decide which plan they should opt for. Health care costs in the United States will represent 19.8% of national expenditure in 2020 from 17.6% and in 2009; the government paid a greater share of the total amount. The researchers estimated that portion of budget that the government will have to face is 45% to 49% in nine years. Outside facilities in my group are Langley Air Force Base, Hampton, VA, for emergency room purposes. For major surgeries or trauma, I am assigned to Portsmouth Naval Hospital, Portsmouth, VA. All MTF's are within a 30min radius, however, in case of an emergency, the civilian fire department automatically transports to Mary Immaculate Hospital, Newport News, VA, which has an agreement with Tri-Care. While my co-workers use Optima Health company group policy. Only three hospital systems in place: Military treatment facility (MTF), Riverside Hospital Group and Sentara Hospital Group. Sentara is the smallest of the three. Most traumas in the area go to Riverside.

The National health program is one of the Tricare Prime program in which certain expenses are paid hospital medical and federally funded (mainly Security Social). The program is open to people over 65 years and people with permanent disabilities.
