Assessment of right and wrong: Evaluating Claudius, the Tragic Villain.
Hamlet
Introduction
Hamlet is a play written by Shakespeare. Stage in Denmark, the play is about the revenge of prince hamlet from Claudius his uncle for murdering the king Hamlet, Prince Hamlet's father and brother of Claudius. The play also portrays Claudius success in taking the wife of king hamlet and becoming a succeeding king. Play also describes the real and unnatural madness and covers the themes of betrayal, revenge and moral version of dishonesty. In my essay, I have identified the ideas of the shrewd enemy of Hamlet's. (Crawford, 1916) Claudius is a corrupt man and politician who use his bad ideas to achieve the throne and success. Claudius ability to manipulate, and use of language which he uses to pour poison in the ears was his main weapon. He used it for achieving success and killing his brother. Even his marriage with Gertrude considered as a strategic move as this option can lead him to achieve success and help him to become a succeeding king. (Crowther, 2005)

Assessment of right and wrong: Evaluating Claudius, the Tragic Villain.
I will discuss, and examine the principles of Claudius, to me Claudius is tragic villain, and I will support my Argument by highlighting cruel intentions of Claudius. In a novel, of Shakespeare named hamlet when Claudius declares that he killed his brother, one of the moment when villain introduced in a play. It was revealing from the speech that he accepted the guilt, but was not ready to surrender, or there was never a will to surrender things he achieved from murder. “My crown, mine own ambition and my queen” (Act 3, Scene 3). For, a short period of time Claudius appearance became relevant to the crowd. As, Claudius desperately looking to get a relief from dire situation, but there was no way to earn the audience sympathy without giving a considerable sacrifice. His effective, but uncaring leadership style, wish for Gertrude, and unsuccessful moment of salvation can be identify as negative qualities. If it was not about the murder of former hamlet, Claudius would be judged as a wise man, and a kind king. His leadership skill was amazing as it can be a witness from his work and role in the start of the play. Claudius successfully restore the confidence of court jury by saying "holding a weak supposal of our value" will be no problem for Denmark and send away the danger with assurance; " So much for him" (Act 1, Scene ii). Similarly, Claudius admires those people who give respect to him. Many a times king goes out from his way to identify the reason and what is wrong with hamlet, calling Rosencrantz and Guildenstern to meet and inform him about the situation, but hamlet dislike this gesture he use to say both that “he knows why good king and queen have sent you”. Lee Lady (November, 2003) Claudius kept continuing Denmark's drinking traditions for the joy of court, ...
